proxlamus©
I was just curious.. I have a 1978 280z that came with an automatic transmission, so I have a 3.54 R180.. do the factory R180's and R200's have the same driveshaft flange?! (I know the '75s are different)
HowlerMonkey
I do know the driveshaft flange on the R200s you find in a 200sx turbo have the same size and bolt spacing as the flange you find on a R180. The square/rectangular flange on the R200s in a 280zx turbo are different. I don't remember the other applications.
jeffer949
It depends on the year. I am using the same drive shaft as i was when i was using my r180.
ktm
Except for 1975. Check the differential (second one from the top) sticky at the top of the page for my photos showing the single year that the differential flange was different. jeffer949
The turbo automatics came with a r200 3.54 that had a different flange also. Not sure about the manuals
Mike C
I swapped in a 78 R200 in my 72 240 in place of the R180 and I used the stock driveshaft.
