280SX
Hi, I am new to the L28ET motor, and I was wondering if I could get some help. I drive a 1989 240SX with the L28ET swap. This is not a very common swap, so there are no write up's any where. I already have the wires done, and I already have the cross member (I used the xmember from the R32 Skyline). What I am wondering is, are there any parts from any of the other L series motors that are interchangeable with the L28? I would also like to know if there are any tips and tricks around the L28 for better throttle response and power. For example, I have heard of people using the KA24DE TB on the L28ET for better response and air flow. Thank you in advance for any help. -John
ben280zx
First and foremost welcome to the forum. Second, You are not the only one that did the swap. Pallnet have done it. My friend Rich have done it and also wrote a write up with video on it. Third, Search before posting please because your questions have been answer already. jc052685
you will find all you will get little slack from members here for not searching first. Just FYI. the stock motor does not need a larger TB there are too many other restrictions to worry about first.
