Guest mtj71Z
i have a 327 from a 66' caprice. will other 327 engine bellhousings work? thanks. mike
pparaska
I think any 327 bellhousing should work, except for maybe the Chevy II version, but those are as rare as hen's teeth, I'd imagine. What are you bolting to it, tranny wise?
Guest mtj71Z
a muncie i got a longtail so maybe it will help put the shifter closer to stock position? what do you think?
pparaska
The muncie, if made for an old GM, ought to bolt right up to any 327 bellhousing. I didn't know there was a long tail muncie - that ought to be a big help, if not TOO long.
fl327
that long tail muncie might be a saginaw, good trans to but blows up before muncie....
