Guest michanic220
i need to find out what manual transmissions will fit a SBC 350 small. need it to handle atleast 500HP because i plan to run 300-500 and probly 500-600 torque. not right away, but in time with me building up the engine. it also has to be a manual transmission. no automatics please. doesnt matter if its 4 or 5 speed but i want one of the two. perferably somthing that will bolt right up. yes, i tried searching this and got no results. the search doesnt like me. neither does the one on zdriver. im reading that the 4.3 liter S10 transmission will bolt right up to the SBC. will that handle the abuse? thanks for all help. -jt. nismopick
Searching doesn't have to be limited to Z forums. http://www.google.com is a useful tool too. I just typed in "SBC transmissions" and "350 manual transmissions" and got tons of results. If the motor is going to put out 500hp+ you better have a bullet proof Tremec (and a bullet proof wallet too).
