Turbo Half Shafts/no Turbo Stub Axle Help..

Guys:

I've read several posts, but am still confused. I have a non-turbo 83 and have a line on 82 2 Turbo half shafts/CVs with the companion flanges, but without hub flanges/stub axles (car is already scrapped). Will the CVs fit my 83 using my stub axles with the turbo companion flange???

Thanx

Dan

I can't offer a difinitive answer on that, but I can't imagine Nissan not standardizing the stub axles between the two so that the companion flanges fit both. The only way to give you a better idea if it will work is to remove the companion flanges on your 83, and count the splines. You will need 25 splines (on the stub itself) to allow the swap to work.

They should work fine. I have a parts car '83 NON-turbo car that came from the factory with R200 and CV shafts. It is a 2+2 model. Be careful though, I have seen some ZX's with R180's and CV shafts.
