New Air Intake

Recommended Posts

So I decided to change may air intake system...again. Third try's the charm, right? So I got the short ram air system off eBay as well as the Z06 air bridge. I put my radiator back in the straight up position with it just slightly lower to allow enough room for the air bridge to fit under the hood. I'm not quite sure about the Corvette emblem, I could leave it, grind it off, or cover it with a custom 570z emblem.

So what do you think?

Nice, that should certainly give you enough air! Any particular reason you decided to bring the rad upright? Are you going to add rain shields for your air cleaners?
I think moving the radiator back to the upright position is probably more efficient and cleaner looking. Having it laid back took up lots of space and forced the air to change directions in order to flow through it.

The air filters are covered by the hood and I don't generally drive in the rain, so I won't install rain shields. The whole system is installed pretty tight to the underside of the hood.

I don't drive mine the the rain either if I can help it. But both runs to DNI were done in the rain. I don't know how much of a real problem it is but having the rain shield makes me feel better.
