AlwaysBroke
So I was on duty last night and I found me a little project to keep me from falling asleep. The Datsun badge on my horn pad was chipping so I figured I would do something about it. I scraped the rest of the paint off and used some paint I had lying around and made it the old red & blue logo. Its surprising how much it brightens up the dash, and for <1 hour spent, you cant beat it.

Careless
you know what would be cool too. if you got some resin and let it cure ontop of a spare pad to see how it turns out. might cure like a factory part!
AlwaysBroke
That would be pretty cool. I would need to find a better way to paint it though. It was very hard to get a smooth finish, I ended up just basicaly pouring the paint in the recess and using a razorblade to make a neat break to silver. It would have probably worked better if I took the time to use spray paint and a self etching primer.
capt_furious
That's brilliant! I've got an extra pad lying around somewhere, I should try my hand at this...I like the epoxy idea, too.
