blue72
Came across an interesting amalgamation while looking over JNC's coverage of the SEMA show. It's a '32 Ford Highboy powered by a VG30. It was built by a Nissan employee, Jack Taylor using the drivetrain from a 300ZX. IRS and all. Here's a link to the pictures over on JCN's website: http://www.japanesenostalgiccar.com/picture.cgi?section=events&article=sema2008&picnum=53 Another small article on the car: http://www.leftlanenews.com/nissan-shows-sema-customs.html
big-phil
I'm such an idiot. I clicked this to see what a "Highboy" was.

Filmjay
Cool! Like any kid with a box and a marker...it can be anything from a rocket ship, to a tank, to a race car. The deuces are pretty much the "cardboard box" of hot rods. You can do just about anything you want to it, and it'll still be cool. Oh...and the term "highboy", in roadster speak, refers to the body sitting on top of the frame. A "lowboy" has the frame channeled through the body. Kennysgreen280zt
I thought it was going to be a lifted ford truck lol. Also a place where the term highboy is used 8) There is this VG powered rod too... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=116127&highlight=alf
