Old Z Guy
I have a good clutch and flywheel from a 1980 N/A Nissan 5 spd, can I use it on the 1982 ZXT BW T-5 project car?
woldson
The na is smaller and less agressive. Sell the na one and buy new clutch for the turbo one.
nismopick
Turbo's and 2+2's have the same flywheel & clutch size (240mm flywheel). 2seater n/a's have a smaller flywheel.
woldson
Yep^^ He did not mention that the na was a 2+2.
nismopick
He did not mention that the na was a 2+2. Nor did he mention it was a 2seater. I wanted to make sure he knew since you didn't clarify. EDIT... Looking at his previous thread, he has a 2seater. And there ya have it. Old Z Guy
Yep^^ He did not mention that the na was a 2+2. Thank you all for the advice. I am learning as I go on the project and appreciate your help. The N/A is a 2 seater. Below is the clutch I took out of the 82 Turbo donor car that I am using in my 1980 project body. Does this look like the original clutch with 100,000 miles on it? P.S. here is the rear end restoration before and after.
blue72
Seeing as the clutch pressure plate says "Made in England", I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that it didn't come out of a Japanese automobile factory that way.
