Would this LSD work in a Z R200?

Yes in a way. That looks like it is a viscous LSD and you will have a hard time hooking up the halfshafts. If you look at the stub shaft that is supposed to bolt to your halfshaft it is for CV's. Use the search function on this board because this has been talked about before and is not a easy converstion.

That's the first time I've ever seen a seller put his own picture on his auction...

Anyway, it should work, don't know how much shipping is, but I got an R230 and 4 shafts for $250. As for the diff flanges, even with the R230 you have to make custom ones so if you're absolutely set on not looking for an R200LSD, then it's gotta be done anyway.

Yeah, "Japandy" is sort of a celebrity in the ricer community.

If I could find clear and concise info on the Z32 R230LSD swap I would go that way, but so far all I've seen is vague at best.

My plan as of this moment is to either...

1. Find a JY R200LSD from 87-89 300ZXTurbo or...

2. Get a JY 280Z(XT) R200 and buy a "new" LSD.
