FubarI33t
It's 1 inch shorter. so it can fit. but how much fab work. No A/C or heater under it to complicate things. Has it been done?
naviathan
Hasn't been done as far as I know, then again, I don't think there's much that hasn't been done with these cars. As for fab work, I would imagine there would be a lot of it to make everything mount solid.

tec280zx
Good luck, i'd like to see it if you do it. When my Z was gutted I slid a 75 dash in there just to see, and it will need a good amount of work. They are shaped a lot differently underneath. I remember some cutting of the cross member involved. It would look pretty nice though.
aziza z
The seats fit. Would be good with the dash. Check this link out, theres pictures of the seats. I think the seats are alot nicer in the older z cars. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-Z-Series-280ZX-1983-DATSUN-280ZX-5-SPEED-MANUAL-ALL-RESTORED-LOOK_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a543Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a0Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem190279266481QQitemZ190279266481QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks
FubarI33t
I'll be starting the swap soon. I'll start in a mock up car. and i'll leave the a/c-heat system so i can give an Effective wright up for most ppl who would want to do it. Hey_You
It has been done. I believe the guys at VildiniMotorsports have done a few of them. From what I heard, it takes some work to make it fit right. I tried using a 91' Celica Dash, gave up as it needed a bit of work for it to fit around my cage. I'm just going to go FG or Aluminum...but the S13 dash looks SUPER CLEAN, would go that route for sure if I was to daily mine Edit: I just now realized you were wondering about an S130...in that case, I don't have a clue
AK-Z
You "might~" want to cut the dash in half to gauges to line up right with the driver orientation. I'm just guessing here. It might be a 1/2 inch to either side. I'm not saying that you "have" to do it, its just an assumption and some fore sight.
