KG78Z Posted October 3, 2002 Share Posted October 3, 2002 I have been looking for a 87 - 89 300zx turbo to get the r200 lsd and put it in my 280. I have been searching the archivews and have not found out if the 300zx turbo needs to be from a car with an automatic or standard transmission, or does it make a difference? Thanks for the help. Mike C Posted October 3, 2002 Share Posted October 3, 2002 Ratio should be same as well. ALL of the '87-89 LSD equipped cars have 3.70. The LSD was a running change and the early '87 cars didn't have it. Look for the finned aluminum cover. Also, the all white '88 SE has a visous diff and requires different half shafts.
