mclark999
I used duct tape and packing tape to tape my window up while I fixed the regulator. I left it on way to long and the tape dried super hard. The packing tape came off, but the glue is super hard. I got it off the window with a razor blade. Any ideas on how to get it off the paint? I tried goof off and tar/bug remover so far. I can try stronger things, but I don't want to hurt the paint. The paint is the original factory paint. Any ideas? Thanks
Challenger
Did the goo gone help at all? The man that did my headliner got a bunch of glue all over my car and that took it off easy. Paint was fine.
ktm
You just need to soak it well with the Goo Off. It may take more than one application.
Warren
Go to a sign shop or sign supply shop and ask if you can buy some "Rapid Remover"... we use it to remove vinyl graphic glue from paint with little or no effort whatsoever. Spray it on, let it sit about 3-5 minutes, gently use a squeegie to loosen the glue and wipe it off with a paper towel. NOTHING works like this stuff and it won't hurt the paint. AK-Z
Try bug and tar remover. Might have to use the whole bottle though
300zx2g35
3M adhesive remover. It works wonders and took off adhesive on my G35 without any elbow grease. Safe for paint too.
