fl327 Posted January 7, 2003 Share Posted January 7, 2003 i run mobil 1 synthetic gear oil in trans and diff, works great and shifts nice when cold, and even better, i get it at kragen for .49 cents a quart, yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah boyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Guest 240hybrid Posted January 7, 2003 Share Posted January 7, 2003 If your running a late 280z 5 speed. I run 80w/90 gear oil in my 5 speed and have no problems. Brand is personnal preference. Although I do think that some better quality(more expensive) will give you smoother shifts/engaging.
