rturbo 930
I'm hoping I won't have to start from scratch. Here's what happened: Turn on computer (from sleep) with everything working, then I try to connect to my wireless internet and it just gets hung up and I can't stop it or close it, or even restart the computer, so I forcefully turn it off. Turn it back on, and it looks like I just did a fresh install of Firefox, which I did not. All my bookmarks, etc are gone, yet when I came here, I was logged in? Strange. I tried doing a system restore twice and it didn't work either time. I'm not a computer wizard or anything, so I'm pretty much out of ideas. If anyone could help me restore Firefox to the way it was yesterday I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Zmanco
I'm afraid I can't help you with how to get things back, but once you do, I would suggest using Mozbackup http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/ to backup your profile at least once a month. Besides restoring if something breaks, it also makes it easy to move your entire Firefox configuration (even cookies and history if you want) to another computer. Good luck! I'll download that once I get this all figured out. I did manage to find a backup of all my bookmarks from 3/16, although I had added quite a few in the last four days. Since I'm logged into all the sites I frequent, I think it might be fixable... don't know yet. If anyone else has any ideas, let me know. Once you get everything straitened out, you need to add this little jewel to your Add On/Extensions > http://www.foxmarks.com/ it will save your rear sooner or later...
