tec280zx
Do you guys have any sources for longer wheel studs for an 87 turbo? Thanks.
PETEW
I don't know if it is anything like 280Z but for my car I used studs from a Minivan. I think it was a 90's Nissan Quest (same as a Mercury). The thread pitch is the same and the knurl is close enough that it fits.
tec280zx
No, unfortunately the z31 studs are different than the earlier z's. The knurl diameter is a lot smaller.
zcarnut
No, unfortunately the z31 studs are different than the earlier z's. The knurl diameter is a lot smaller. Not true. Nissan used the same diameter studs on all Z cars from 1970 to 1987.
tec280zx
Not true. Nissan used the same diameter studs on all Z cars from 1970 to 1987. You're right...I feel like such a noob. I must have mixed up the front and rear studs. The studs are the same, thanks. Otherwise I may not have double checked.

310z
Pettersen Motorsports located in Chico, Ca. found them for me. Mark is the best at finding those hard to find nessary parts. Give him a call. 530-343-5007 or 530-343-4455
rsicard
That's all it takes is persistence. ARP and Dorman both have them but in 1.5 threads per millimeter versus 1.25 on the Z cars. 1.5 is much more standard and that is what I put in my 240Z.
