menzzer37
I just mounted a 15 gallon aluminum RCI fuel cell in the rear of my 76 280, but I'm a little lost as to wiring the sender. It has a 90 ohm gm style with the center nut terminal and a side spade. Does anyone know which of the 3 wires from the original harness to go what? I searched but with no luck. Thanks

nick77
on your new aftermarket gauge or gm gauge it will have 3 wires coming out ground(for the gauge), 12v switched power for the gauge, last one is for the sending unit center terminal(with the nut), and the spade terminal on the sending unit is the sending units ground
menzzer37
That's a little confusing. I have the stock fuel gauge, so which wires to go what on the fuel cell?
bobbyc
it wont read correctly with the stock gauge...the gm is 0-90ohms...the stock is different.
