MoNkEyT88
I'm stripping my 240Z of parts, and basically selling the body. The body is a 1973 240Z. It would come with a good condition 240Z dash, VIN and title. It has the floors patched and boxed sub frame connectors welded on. Only surface rust on the body. Rear roll pan area is wrinkled up a bit. Engine mounts in place for LS1/LS6, GEN III motor, and T56 transmission cross member mount. Fuel cell area where spare tire was. (Haven't decided about keeping the fuel cell or not) Auto Power roll bar. Dual exhaust for a LS1/LS6 that will fit the chassis. Most of the body just needs to be cleaned up and repainted. I have enough work getting my 260Z 12 point cage in and all the stuff I want to do to that one. Although I am considering keeping it, and working on it later. 1 street V8 Z, and 1 track V8 Z.. Money wise, new mounts for the other Z will cost me around 100$, and the roll bar could be sold separate, as well as the dash. Tell me what you think is a good price. Also, it is stripped of all wiring. Seems like a good place to start if you want to clean up the chassis. In action!!
B00STDZ
Why are you selling the body?
MoNkEyT88
I have a 260Z that I'd like to focus on finishing and could use the money towards that also. Also, using the parts from the 240Z.. (LQ9, T56, R200, adjustable suspension, racing seats)
B00STDZ
Why take everything off the 240z to put on the 260z? Why not just sell the 260z chassis? Usually everyone wants the 240z anyways...
MoNkEyT88
I already have the chassis blasted, and have sub frame connectors and new floors in it. It's going to be easier to put a 12 point cage in because it's all blasted already. I kind of want to do a tubular front end on it, so there will be a lot of fab anyway.. 240Z vs. 260Z, well not much left of the original car anyway.
