GOTHALOSISM
Just to fill you guys in I just got back my MS unit from DIYautotune for repairs. (did a great job and were very helpfull). Now my issue is I rewired everything back up and I have no spark. I know I'm getting power to the coil and the dizzy but nothing after the coil. So can it be the CAS thats bad or is it something eles that it can be? I also reloaded my msq file so every thing is the same when the car was running. Is it possible that the CAS went bad? If so where do I get a new one? By the way its an 83 turbo dizzy. on a side note I also swapped out the coil with a spare that i had just to make sure. Matt Cramer
First question: Are you getting an RPM signal? If not, I would check the CAS first. The MS will not spark until it gets and RPM signal. If you are getting an RPM signal, you will need to check the output side instead.
GOTHALOSISM
ok did some t.s and found out i'm not getting an rpm signal. Question is we put 12v to the cas instead of the 9v required. Will that damage the dizzy?
softopz
I believe I had 12 going in you should be fine but a second opinion wouldnt hurt.
