Moltar
I picked this baby up for my 240Z yesterday: Best of all it is designed to be used with an Edelbrock carb (I've only seen Holley manifolds out there, and I'm an Edelbrock man). My only question is how much can my stock mechanical fuel pump keep up with? I know on AZC they say keep the stock pump, but that is for a 390 cfm Holley. The smallest Edelbrock goes is 500 cfm. I've found a 600 cfm Edelbrock for $100, would this work, or am I faced with switching over to an electric fuel pump? ~Thanks
Pharaohabq
That's a pretty cool setup you've found. My dad made one like that for my brother's 260Z years ago, but he used 3" iron pipe fittings to connect things. Worked, cept it would pool gas in the bottom. I would try yours with the standard fuel pump and see what it can do. if you end up choking out too lean on higher RPM, then you might want to upgrade, but I think you'll be fine with stock. h4nsm0l3m4n
I run the AZC manifold with an edelbrock 500 cfm carb. Im running the stock fuel pump setup (mechanical pump on the block, and stock electric pump near the tank) on my car and I've never had any problems.
