280zjoel
anyone now how to make these seats fit? we got the seats in the car bur they are so high in the air and it s really awkward to drive.has any one put in corbeaus? i need help. im putting them in a 78 280z. yep, i had the same problem when i installed mine. I had to cut the seat brackets off of the floor board and re-make them so that i could fit without having my head touch the roof. Hope you have a welder ready:-o
evildky
?? I had forza's in my 240 and they sat lower than stock, I did remove the stupid spacer's betweent he track and the seat rail but I'd assume you did that first,
garvice
Different seats, but I had the same problem with my RX7 seats. Got them sitting lower by doing this http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=148599
ams7
ya i think that is what we are going to have to do... they feel and look so cool in the car, but u just cant drive confortably. so u just cut the mounts down all they way and bolted to floor? or just shortened the seat brackets

garvice
Pretty detailed pics of what I did in that thread. Cut out the old mounts and welded in new box sections.
