RB26powered74zcar
Is there someone who can help me how to take of the outer cv. on a 300zxtt halfshaft? It's held on with a c clip in groove. If you place the center axle bar in a vice, then get a heavy sledge hammer, you give it a good swift whack and she'll pop off. Be sure the rubber boot clamps are removed, and the boot slid out of your way. Good luck!!
deja
Mine did NOT have a c-clip. I had to use a gear puller to get the bearing off and a press to get them back on. Then I smashed 3 areas on the spline end to assure they stayed put. All that is according to the Datsun shop manual.
RB26powered74zcar
This is the end I'm talking about removing. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the question.
