hoov100
Finally able to start on the function side of my interior. even though its really scary to break open gauges, it is actually worth it IMO.
Crimsin
So how are you connecting to the stock connections?
MAG58
That looks pretty nice. What all did it take to stuff them in the stock bezels?
hoov100
That looks pretty nice. What all did it take to stuff them in the stock bezels? a flat head screw driver to pull up the lip on the bezel, once you slide that off, take a pair of pliers and go around the edge of the gauge housing, pushing the lip up, once you have the entire edge as close to strait as you can get it, push it into the s30 gauge cup, just be easy with it and it should slide in with a little effort. So how are you connecting to the stock connections? when you have a sbc and TH350 installed everything just kinda bolts/wires up. heres a pic with them and the three F-U gauges installed. icapture
I am also in the process of mounting up my Autometer 2 5/8" prosport gauges. Not quite sure how I am gonna get them to sit securely in there, i think i might use the original housings, Im sure I will figure something out. hoov100
not the best pictures or the best bulbs, but the stock s30 gauge lights are in the tach and the autometer light are in the three in the center.
The240zProject
this might be a dumb or redundant question, but what size did you use for the speedo and tach? I am ordering some Cobalt series for my 240 and planned on doing the same. Good work.
