7MGFORCE
Hi I'm using a 9"x 2 air cleaner but it hits the hood. I have trim the bottom of the cleaner base a little to lower it but it still hits. The hood does close if I put a little "push" but I'm afraid when I run the engine it will rub enough to destroy something. Any ideas? I don't wanna have to add a cowl just to clear 1/2"
hoov100
get a drop base if you dont already have one. that should lower it about an inch, i just cut a hole in my hood to accept the 12x4 airfilter with the flat base.
