Felt awesome!!! I cant tell you how happy I was when it started today after everything was together. Once I get some good daylight pics I will be able to show what I did to the interior (sound deading removed and everything painted) but everything got rewired, tucked, regrounded, and it ran like a CHAMP.

Stock 260z r180 diff. Rb25det, stock turbo @ 11lbs and RB20 trans. Still awaiting tune on powerFC after r200 swap and mandrel bent exhaust.

I have the same swap in my 240z, with the rb20 trans. The driveshaft bolts on mine kept coming loose too. My 300hp rb25 destoryed my r180 in 2 months of just normal street driving, and 5 pulls down the drag strip. I am doing my r200 conversion right now and cant wait to see what it feels like with the better 3.7 ratio. with the 3.36 3rd gear went to 115 mph and was just killing the tq numbers.

Change out that diff and it will be a completely different animal.

Oh and do you know if changing over to the rb25 trans will be a direct swap? Or do you have to have the driveshaft and rear trans mount rebuilt? I was thinking about doing this as well since I drove the car for 20 mile with zero trans fluid in it (i know, I am an idiot...) Now she has a faint tick... ugh

Felt AWESOME when I took it back out---and youre right-- Totally different animal. Going this weekend for a 3" exhaust and the following weekend for a tune. Looking for 280-300whp on the stocker. Should hold me over for a while.

more vids to come--- hopefully this time in the daylight (or close to it)

As for the rb25 trans--- prob would need a new trans mount, not to metion it probably takes up more room in the tunnel meaning new exhaust. My clearance already sucks thus the new system.
