chiefmd
I am contemplating replacing my 77 280z fuel pump. Car runs good with the exception of a miss or after fire. Fuel pressure sits at 26psi. I have changed the fpr but no change in pressure. I have clamped off both the supply and return lines and the results point towards a leaking relief valve in the fuel pump. I don't feel like shelling out $300/$400 for an OEM pump so I have been looking at aftermarket pumps. But I can't determine if they have a relief valve. Any help would be appreciated. jc052685
Why would ther be a relief valve? Click on the link in my signature for some good walbro and bosch replacements.
