pallnet Posted August 30, 2009 Share Posted August 30, 2009 The vent hoses are at the top of the tank. Crack in the top of the tank is possible but my guess would be a poorly fitting vent hose or even an old cracked vent hose. If it's leaking at half full then you will want to check the sender gasket. softopz Posted August 31, 2009 Share Posted August 31, 2009 pallnet is right on the money however you dont need to drop the tank to access the top 3 vents. I just recently did this its tight but saves you the time of dropping the tank. The fuel filler also could be a leaking point if the clamp or hose is cracked or not tight.
