Stealth-Z
Seems there is more than I thought. So off to the scrap yard tomorrow.
Stealth-Z
After two trips the final take was around $100.00. I had over 60lbs of wiring harnesses, 600lbs of mixed metal scrap, cleaned radiators, aluminum included cylinder heads and AC condensers. As a friend of mine has said time and time, "The ultimate value of any car is"... "How much does it weigh?"
MAG58
As a friend of mine has said time and time, "The ultimate value of any car is"... "How much does it weigh?" So that's why people pay so much for a Supra. But all jokes aside, very true. I took my twisted up Z doner car (don't worry gentlemen, it was way beyond gone, lots of rust and one side ended up being three inches shorter in wheelbase than the other, neither of them were right.) and got something like 60 bucks for it. Not bad to me.
smokeybear
Nice! My dad and I cleaned up my grandparents property a few years back and maybe about $350 just hauling in old metal. We had just shy of 2 tons but metal prices were a lot better then.
