z ya
Anyone running a 700r4 with a Holley 4150 Double pumper? Is there to much throw in the linkage for the 700's tv cable????
John Scott
Used to have a 600 dblpmpr w/ 700r4. As long as the placement of the hole is the right distance from center on the bellcrank, and tv adjusted correctly it worked perfectly for 5 years. Don't have all the measurements anymore. JohnG
Yes. Had the same problem, due to incorrect geometry of the stock Holley carb linkage. I solved it with a Sonnax corrector plate that bolts onto your linkage and gives the correct geometry for the TV cable. Go to www.sonnax.com, and use the search function to find part # AS2-02K "Throttle Valve Corrector for Holley Carb". Cost around $30 delivered.
