ktm
Does anyone know if there is a difference between the N/A and turbo speed sensors for a z32 300zx? I know there is a gearing difference and hence different pinion gears, but I am talking about the sensor itself. The N/A sensor sells for $110 and the turbo sensor for $155. I've been searching for a while and can't seem to find any differences in the sensor itself. Thanks.
260DET
Check the colour of the sensor's plastic pinion, different colours for different teeth numbers. Fairly sure that the NA and TT have different # of teeth.
Kash
The only difference I'm aware of between the two trans is the starter mounting point on the bell housing...except for the pinion, the sensors should be the same.
ktm
Thanks. It seems odd that there is a price differential, but there is. It was driving me nuts as I could not see why there would be a physical difference in the sensors.
