s!lvias30
Ok I just found out that my fuel injection relay is burned up , I have a 1978 280z and apparently 1978 are the only ones with those relays, autozone and advance auto parts don't sell that relay. I went through all the junk yards and found nothing, is there another fix like fuseable links? Or anything , I carless so please help me . Thanks

I have a brand new relay for a 75 but I'm not sure if it will work with the 78, probably not. If anyone else wants to chime in on this go ahead. s!lvias30
Hey it might work, where you located and how much for the relay?
roger.svoboda
a relay is a relay. How complicated can it be? they come in many flavors find one that duplicates the original and use it. Probably something standard bosch makes. look on the relay usually there is a circuit diagram on the case else take the case off and look at the contacts you know it is a 12 volt coil so that part is easy. Administrators BRAAP Posted November 25, 2009 Administrators Share Posted November 25, 2009 10. new maf aka efi, with 2 extra ones 1) New maf on a '78 Z?!? Which '78 maf are you talking about? Was this a new retrofit recently? 2) When did the EFI become known as maf, or vice versa? I must have missed that memo... Did it come out recently? Last week?
