Of all people I almost never say this but- search. Search google to be honest- look what it takes to setup a rwd car for drag racing plenty out there. Not totally true, he can prolly swing some shocks and springs for under $500.. however my advice would be to replace all the worn parts..tie rod, ball joints..etc..Then save a liitle more and buy shocks and springs.. The torque that comes with 400hp is likely going to make short work of your stock u-joints. However, doing it for $500 is going to be tough.
