Guest Anonymous
Does anyone know of a supplier that sells the Fairlady style flares such as the ones on the Z at the below link? http://www.geocities.co.jp/MotorCity/1147/FairladyZ/04172.jpg Thanks, Chris
Mikelly
Jim Cook and Bob Sharp both sold those flares, although I don't think Cook carries them anymore, and Sharp is nolonger in business... Check Impact Parts.. (Might have a number somewhere...) as they also carried them for a while... BTW, I know what was wrong with the Mallory pump.. It didn't burn up... Just wasn't modified to run the non-return style pump.. Gonna put it back together this evening! Guest Anonymous
Thanks Mike!! I looked up the Impact Parts website and I can't really find anything for the older Z cars... I may come by later on as I am working on boxing up all of my hi-po L engine parts to ship them all over... Thanks, Chris
Owen
Those are the 240ZG fenders that came stock in Japan. Actually the rear ones are a little big so they may be KGC10 ones or some shop's originals. MotorportAuto sells these now. They had a set hanging on the wall last time I was there last month. The ones they sell are the same ones as I have, slightly skinnier flare in the back. Guest Anonymous
Owen, Thanks for the reply!! I will call Motorsport when I get to that stage of my build. Right now I don't even have a car!! Mike and I are searching for a good candidate and I have a couple of good leads. It looks like you car is coming along well, I can't wait to see the finished product, that Z you are basing the exterior on is really sharp!!
