linluv84
Searched around and couldn't find any definitive info. I see that many people are using high flow aftermarket pumps to match their high hp builds, but what is the basic requirements for an RB25det in stock trim? Is a bosch ZX replacement pump sufficient? I've made 220whp on e85 with this pump without starvation issues, so *in theory* it should work. Just looking for some hard numbers and experienced advice... pat1
I have a inline walbro pump on mine. Works perfect, I had to put a nismo fpr to get the psi down from 55 at idle to 36. Those Bosch 044 pumps are pricy.
Pyro
the msd 2225 efi pump is rated to 500hp. cost about 100.00. durable and quiet pumps. The stock pump should be able to handle 300 or 400hp if it is in good condition.

Pyro
if your pump is noisy then I bet the intake tube on the tank is partly clogged.

I think that is a far better question.
linluv84
My current setup is running e85. I'm just checking to make sure the stock ZX pump can feed a stock RB25det NEO...
Zreddy
I use a Bosch 044 as well... imo just do it right the first time... it payd off for me.
