mossy74 Posted January 17, 2010 Share Posted January 17, 2010 I need some help figuring out what parts i need for my 240z coilover setup, I searched and read quite a bit but I'm not very mechanically minded and it just confused me more, it will be mainly a street driven weekend car. This is my set up tires: f: 225/50/16 r: 245/45/16 shocks: koni 8610-1437 Now I'll be getting my struts sectioned to suit the konis but i'm unsure of spring lenghts and size I'll need, I'll be getting king springs here in Australia and this is what I've guessed I'll need spring length(free height?) 250mm front and rear, rates 225/250, spring id 65mm sleeve id 2in, sleeve length 5in Does any of this sound right? johnc Posted January 17, 2010 Share Posted January 17, 2010 Sounds spot on although those spring rates are at the bottom end of the range for the 8610s. Keep that in mind when adjusting rebound.
