Life size plastic LSX - T56 model as a tool for fitment

Recommended Posts

As I plan for my future LS swap, I have read thread after thread learning about the approaches many of you have taken in accomplishing your LS swaps. It seems fairly common that the engine / trans assembly goes in and out several times between fitment, a little tunnel pounding, some cuts here and there, etc, before the unibody is sent off for paint and then final engine / trans install.

It seems that it would be useful to have an exactly sized light plastic model of the engine / trans assembly I am going to use. That way, maybe I could reduce the number of times the actual engine goes in and out.

Does anything like this exist? Would it really be useful or am I over reading the number of times the assembly really gets swapped?

Thanks.
