rat_ranger
Ok, I did search for this. I need the weld on perch for the threaded sleeves. I have everything but those little rings. Where can they be found? I sent a message to ground control, but no response yet.
JMortensen
I'm not a big fan of GC's weld on washer rings, so when I did up a new pair of struts I found a piece of tubing that fit over the strut and just cut it into 1/2" long sections, slid them down and welded them on. GC has very good customer support, so I'm sure if that's too much hassle they'll return you call and get you set up with some of their washers. 70 Cam Guy
2" pipe from Home Depot. That's exactly how I did mine as well. Don't breath the gas that comes off the weld if it's galvanized!
rat_ranger
Ok, thanks guys. Thats to easy. Im in Iraq right now so I don't exactly have parts sitting in front of me to look at and measure. The set up I have doesnt have rings with it because I just went to dirt track suppliers and pieced it together. I wanted to do a few things different, like having the longer threaded sleeve, helper coils to keep everything seated, black and gold color.
