DeepV Posted February 26, 2010 Share Posted February 26, 2010 Hey guys, i'm relatively new the to the forum and pop in every so often but i'd figure i'd share my swap. I've got a 1978 280z that currently has an l28et swapped in it with an n42 intake, t3/t04e, haltech, t5, etc etc etc... I've decided to get replace it with an ls motor because of my familiarity with the motor and my overwhelming desire to have instant torque again. I'll post updates of my progress if anyone is interested and next post i'll go into details of what exactly i have in mind for the car. DeepV Posted February 26, 2010 Author Share Posted February 26, 2010 Thanks for the support guys, i'll make an effort to share pictures and information as I progress. So far in terms of motor/trans I already have a world class t5 from a late f-body, an iron 5.3 that will probably go in for a while just so i can nitrous bomb it(gotta love 300 dollar motors), plus a foam ls mock up block that we have at the shop which will be my primary means of mocking up the block and t5 for when i go to fabricate the motor mounts.
