boyracer
Ok, I have searched these forums front to back to find any info on this to no avail. My parking brake cable is seized, what options do I have? Can I use a 280z or a 240sx cable? I was hoping to use the Modern Motorsports 240sx rear brake package so I would imagine if the 240sx cable works on my '72 240z, it would all go together nicely. I am sure lots of ppl have the same issue so any help would be appreciated! Craig

zcarnut
Anyone have ideas? I can't be the only one! I've used the Lokar one (with mods) on a 240Z: http://lokar.com/product-descriptions/univ-ebrake-cables.htm But's it is expensive.
oldhemi
Boyr, I am in the same boat with the stock rear drums om my 260Z. Over on classic Z cars, Beandip had repaired his by slitting open the sheath and using a cable from Home Depot and the original ends. Other have bought the 77-78 280Z cable from Blackdragon and changed the ends. Good luck.
boyracer
Thanks for the help, I guess I am going to have to get creative. I was hoping for a quick (and cheap) fix. I guess I should have known better...
