cygnusx1
I know the later senders have two pins. Â I think it's for a low oil pressure ignition cut out. Â Does the pressure gauge signal on the later sensors, put out the same resistance curve as the early sensors? Â Can I just stick the 240Z barrel connector onto the spade from a late sender? I have a like-new ZX sender on the engine I am dropping into my 72 and would like to know if I need to replace it or not. Thanks. MONGO510
If I recall correctly, it should work just fine. Mongo
giorgio61
Does anyone know which of the two pins is the (on-off) switch and which is the gauge (variable). I want to use the on-off switch output signal for an aux electric fuel pump cut off relay/timer in my 240 project (no oil press, no gas), but I don't have a '78/ZX sender yet for me to test. mario_82_ZXT
I think it's the vertical one.
