datsundriver87
Hey Everyone I have an 82 280zx and im really interested in MSA's 30th anniversary body kit (http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/7AP1/50-1444KI). Wondering if anyone has pics of this kit on their car, or if this is a bolt on kit or something that needs to be professionally installed and trimmed to fit. Any advice would be great thanks. sticky280zx
Most all of their kits like many others are a pain to fit, just because they make it off of one car (who knows if it had been wrecked or whatever else in its life, then its going on yours...which could have the exact same problems. Take your time and be very patient, and remember you cant add as easy as you can take away so trim carefully. Or if you cant/dont want to mess with it you can roll your dice with a body shop, just make sure they have done MANY kitted cars before and still do great work. signal34
I had my bodyshop install a MSA Type 1 airdam on my 81 280ZXT and the owner said that it installed easily and had good fitment. Edited May 11, 2010 by signal34
Texlenin
Datsundriver87, If you ever find anybody who has fitted this, or just bought it, let me know. I'd like to get the dimensions of the front airdam for a project of my own. I called MSA just an hour ago, and they didn't have one in-house at the moment. I would like to get as many dimensions as possible to make a fitment decision. Thanks.
