No MAF connector

Recommended Posts

I have a 94 lt1 with the MAF sensor. I bought a custom Harness with a chipped ECU from a guy that had a 93 lt1. Is there a way to install the MAF sensor into the new "custom" harness or do I even have to use the sensor? I did search but got tired of reading the same info.

There is a lot of differences between the 93 and 94 LT1. MAF is only one. Sequential Port Injection introduced in 94. The 94 computer that can be reprogrammed using your laptop. I know the 93 EFI connectrs are not going to hook up right and I doubt the 93 ECU will run the Sequential Port Injection correctly. If I were you I would get the proper harness and get the benefits of the 94 ECU and the MAF.

Update I joined a lt1/ls1 forum and one of the guru's told me as long as I have a 93 PCM/ECU I can run the engine with no problem. Better yet I can stick a air filter right on the TB.

So in conclusion the 93 harness with 93 ecu will work on a 94/95 lt1. (not sure about later lt1's though)
