the better vert for the winter-

I know it sounds ridiculous BUT that being said. What car actually does better in the snow as far as getting traction handling and balance. A 2000 and newer Mazda Miata, OR a Pontiac Solstice both 5 speed cars.

I had no problems with my 1993 Miata in the snow. It had four snow tires on it and the factory LSD and it went everywhere as long as the snow wasn't too deep.

My 4 wheel drive pickup will do better in snow , but i'm curious to see the feedback on your question. I know my zx does pretty good but only with weight (250 lbs) in the back right over the back axle.

Honestly though I think it really comes down to 1. a good experienced winter snow time driver 2. good snow tires 3. proper weight distribution for traction.

the thing is I live in mn right- there are a ton of 240sx' bmw mercedes 2wd pickups stangs even that are on the road I never seen them on the side of the road. and I figure that a very balanced car should do great, that and I am thinking of getting rid of my 2000 civic si, honestly my 280z does better in the snow than my fwd si does any day- (the si had issues so unfortunately last year I drove the z in the winter for like a week.
