mistah mofro
so a couple weeks ago i got a steal for a set of Tokico HP's with springs for 180. I installed the rears and got a good drop almost exactly where i wanted it to be. On the other hand the front is a good 2-3inch inches higher than the rear, at first i thought the tokico spring was just that much stronger than stock and to test that i installed my stock cut springs (came with the car) and still same height in the front. I was wondering if maybe I accidentally installed the fronts on the rears, then rear struts in the front. Also dones the front strut compress more than the rears? Thanks A bunch Edited September 12, 2010 by mistah mofro
at-jefft
The tokico springs should say F and R on them after the part #.
mistah mofro
Its not the spring im concerned about or does the same go for the struts? at-jefft
I don't know about the struts #. I think they are different numbers actually. I'm not sure that all 4 would fit in reverse.
z2go
If you are talking about S30 struts and springs, the rear struts would not fit in the front, since they are longer (or should have a spacer attached). So, it shouldn't be the strut. Have you tried driving around with it yet? It could be that they just need a trip around the block to settle in. I drove it for maybe a day or two and hasn't changed I'll ride with it alittle bit longer. First time i drove it pretty hard then the clutch started to act up (nothing to do with the strut) and havent drove it since. I'll let you guyz no what it looks like in a week or so.
