Do you guys think I should the use clear headlight covers. I have set but can't decide whether I like them or not. I should get a better idea after I get the front end and bumper painted or at least primed.

BTW, this MSA front air dam is good quality. I was surprised after everything I heard.

Thats kind of a question I'm not sure we can answer for you. Do you like how it looks with them or not?

Not being a smart ass, but its like the should I go automatic or stick questions or what color should I paint the car? Its subjective and our opinions won't help tell you what you like.

Find your very favorite picture of a Z and what does it have? Does it have covers? Thats how I'd approach it for myself, but its your call in the end.

Regards,

Lone

I don't think tinted headlight covers would look on my car. I tried purchasing the from Nissan but they only had one side in stock and they don't plan on getting more. I think these would go with the car.

Z-YA, Thanks for the compliment. Always nice to hear when someone appreciates the hard work done to the car.

I put the clear headlight covers on my car. Its just my opinion, but I thought they looked goofy with the black rubber seals. I took off the rubber and put them back on 2thumbs.gif Also sanded and primed the air dam.

BTW, my headlight covers are the cheap ones from MSA.

I'll post a pic when I have a chance.

tdab, I also have a set of the cheap MSA covers. I put them on my Z when is was the 110 red/orange (persimmon) color, and I agree, I quickly took off the black rubber gaskets. Now with the the dark blue on my car, I guess the gaskets might not stand out as much. Do you have the gaskets still? I'd like to get a pair.

Pete,

You can have them. You'll need to cut them down to size because they make them too long, but thats a good thing.

My car is going to be orange and they just don't look right to me. If it was a dark color they would better (subtle) ;)

I will send you an email from home later. You can reply with your address and I'll drop them in the mail.

More primer and more sanding. Then MORE primer and MORE sanding. I have a long way to go, just bolted it up to take pics

BTW, I'm still looking for a motor/trans. I think you guys are making me shoot higher than I first intended, otherwise I'd already have it. Probably wouldn't be happy with it though!

Thats the great thing about this project. You can leave it for weeks, months, then when you get motivated, its there waiting.
