Can u please help me ID this diff

I believe that is a subaru R180.

 

Nope.

 

A. Subarus never used halfshafts with R180s [All CVs]

B. All Subaru R180s are LSDs and have finned covers

 

Subaru did in fact put labels on all of their diffs. It is a rectangular metallic piece on the back cover with the gear ratio and relevant details. The color of the label [gold or silver] indicated LSD or open.

 

Looks like a Datsun R180 to me.

Okay? Datsun and Subaru used the same exact R Series housings.

 

Also, notice how the back holes for the front mount aren't used - Subaru uses a mount that has bolts in all 4 holes, while Datsun only used the front two.

 

And I though datsun r180 halfshafts have a 4 bolt flange off of the diff.

 

It looks exactly like the R180 I pulled out of my 1981 Automatic parts car.

Subaru DOES NOT use half shafts on the R180. That right there already proves it to not be a Subaru differential. Why argue the point father on that?
