FlatBlack
I believe that is a subaru R180. Nope. A. Subarus never used halfshafts with R180s [All CVs] B. All Subaru R180s are LSDs and have finned covers Subaru did in fact put labels on all of their diffs. It is a rectangular metallic piece on the back cover with the gear ratio and relevant details. The color of the label [gold or silver] indicated LSD or open. Looks like a Datsun R180 to me. Edited October 5, 2010 by FlatBlack
Tank
This looks really similar. My link And I though datsun r180 halfshafts have a 4 bolt flange off of the diff. Edited October 6, 2010 by Tank
FlatBlack
This looks really similar. My link Okay? Datsun and Subaru used the same exact R Series housings. Also, notice how the back holes for the front mount aren't used - Subaru uses a mount that has bolts in all 4 holes, while Datsun only used the front two. And I though datsun r180 halfshafts have a 4 bolt flange off of the diff. It looks exactly like the R180 I pulled out of my 1981 Automatic parts car. Why argue the point father on that?
