dawg7
This is where I put the jackstands for replacing struts, springs and most of the bushings. The rear stands are real close to the stab bar but it clears it barely. Used a floor jack at the rear diff and front cross member. Very Stable. Got in the back hatch and also had it started. 240zip
that's a rather clean under carriage on your 260Z. I'm going to assume at some point your suspension pieces were painted.
dawg7
The PO did that years ago. Also it looks like some kind of Rhino Liner type spray on the metal/frame. It does look real nice under there!
bobbyc
why is your flywheel so exposed...are you missing the plate that goes between the tranny and motor?
dawg7
oh crap.....not another piece that needs attention. Didn't notice that one. Thanks for pointing that one out.
kerrys914
Sorry old thread I know... What is the piece near the yellow jack rod (attached to the frame)? I am looking to jack up my 280Z and am looking for good jack points so I can remove my suspension from the car. Thanks
kerrys914
Ha.. I think it was just the photo angle.. That looks to be the rear sway-bar end (disconnected). I thought it was something attached to the frame..
