B00STDZ
Im looking for a complete, fully functioning window, rust free 260z drivers door. Im looking on just changing the whole door out with one that has a fully functioning window as mine has never worked properly, have tried EVERYTHING, taken it in to professionals and they suggested a new door as mine is probably warped or something... I do not what the interior panels on the door. Please send pictures if you have what i need.

Project Z
BUMP... still looking I have one off my 73 240. I have pictures on my build thread of the door. It's still connected to the car but will be removed on Monday as I am getting the car prepped for paint. Window rolls up and down with no problems. B00STDZ
It looks in really good shape? But im not sure if the 240z doors will fit a 260z. Also i take it your located in san diego, CA? Shipping would be best through greyhound. All you would have to do is just maybe throw some plastic rap over the top of it and give it to them. Can anyone tell me if the 73 240z door is the same as the early 74 260z door?
dhp123166
Different door Nick.
B00STDZ
Damn. Well I guess I still need a door then.
dhp123166
Well it will mount and be functional... ...however, you don't get that nice firm click upon closing that you get with the stock door. I had a 240z door on my 76 280z and it sounded rinky dinky and tinny, I guess because it weighs less. Not to mention the propensity that 240z doors have for splitting along the weld between skin and frame that sits under the a-pillar when closed rendering the whole door worthless... B00STDZ
Well. You find alot of z parts. You think you could find me a door?

I didn't know that, we should warn all 240Z owners!
dhp123166
Well. You find alot of z parts. You think you could find me a door? Didn't we already have this conversation? I thought you did not want to pay shipping via FEDEX which is the only way I will ship large items.

No i said I would pay and then you said you didnt have one fully assembled/functional window and rust free.
dhp123166
Okay, I remember, I did not want to reassemble the rust free door shell I had. In that case I'll pick one up next time I see one. I've passed over a few already and you don't seem to be having any luck finding one. FYI, this would ship fully assembled except with no dovetail and the window frame detached to save on shipping costs. Thanks Nick.
