mondello.v
so i have a 75 280z and a 2006 cobalt ss with a fully built 2.0 and a turbo swap making 480whp. do you guys think that if i use a solstice transmission that this swap would be possible. i would have everything i need minus mounts since i have the complete cobalt ss in my garage. really thinking about this as the cobalt is pretty much in parts and i dont really care for it much anyways. CamH
That would be a pretty cool swap. You should do it! Be sure to document and include a lot of pictures if you decide to go ahead with it.
Gollum
It all depends on the differences between the FWD platform and the RWD platform. If they use nearly or identical blocks then it'd be an easy swap. The challenge is that many times companies change some things here and there to make the motor better suited to their drivetrain application. Those are details that few here will probably know about, and you'd be needing to talk to some people with experience with those engines.
